Please find below a list of MoreCoCo’s (formally More Computers) terms and conditions of sale. Please read them carefully. The terms and conditions you enter into with us do not affect your statutory rights.
Orders and Deliveries
Orders are only accepted via the internet.
Prices are checked regularly, however if we find the price has changed when we receive your order, we will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed.
Dates and times of delivery are estimates only. MoreCoCo strives to ensure that all goods are delivered on time, however we do not accept liability for goods delivered on an unspecified day. We may also deliver the goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this.
We do not accept liability for shortage of goods delivered, or damage to deliveries unless we are notified in writing within three days of the goods being delivered.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding online transactions, we may request customers to authenticate their identity. By confirming the customer's identity, we can ensure that the person placing the online order is the legitimate owner of the payment method being used.
On some oversize/overweight items an additional delivery charge may be necessary. If this is the case we will contact you before proceeding with your order.
Payment
Payment can be made by credit/debit card, PayPal or AmazonPay.
Warranties and Returns
The MoreCoCo strives to provide our customers with exceptional quality goods. On rare occasions however, these goods may turn out to be faulty or defective.
Most goods delivered to a UK address carry a minimum 12 month manufacturer's warranty. As a condition of sale customers must deal directly with the relevant manufacturer and comply with the manufacturer's instructions and warranty procedure. We will refer you directly to the product manufacturer in such cases. We will provide you with the contact information for the relevant manufacturer. The warranty does not apply if the goods have been altered or damaged in any way by the customer or it's employees or agents, or goods not used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Claims for damage, non-functionality and mis-shipping must be made within three days of receipt. After this date, replacements will not be offered.
For terms and conditions relating to faulty products please read the section Information on
Faulty Products.
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply to orders placed by business customers and our
Business Terms and Conditions relating to returning non-faulty goods apply.
Orders placed for business use, commercial use, items for re-sale, quantity purchases, high value amounts, business type products or any order deemed to be for non-consumer use will be subject to our Business Terms and Conditions. If you have not selected Business Order during the checkout process, we may contact you to confirm that you agree to our Business Terms and Conditions before accepting your order.
Subject to the right of consumers to return goods for refund under The Consumer Rights Act, MoreCoCo do not sell products on a trial basis and the Consumer Rights Act does not allow a trial period of use. Customers are strongly advised to read the product specifications before placing an order. Under the Consumer Rights Act, you are entitled to inspect goods on receipt to ensure they are what you intended to purchase. If after reading the outer packaging or looking at the goods you decide they are not what you want, you have 14 days in which to cancel your order and return the goods at your own expense.
Once an item has been used or any software licences have been accepted the item cannot be returned as unwanted. Software licences cannot be revoked, for example, as soon as you switch on a laptop you will be asked to accept the Microsoft Windows software licence and register it. The same is true of boxed software, once the seals have been broken they are non-returnable. Similarly once a printer has had toner cartridges installed this is regarded as use and therefore order acceptance.
Unwanted goods can only be returned (within 14 days) if unused and in 'new' condition or unopened (i.e. with any seals and shrink-wrap still intact). For terms and conditions relating to unwanted products purchased by consumers, please read the section Information on Returning Unwanted Products.

WEEE Regulations
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
Much of the UK's WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
MoreCoCo is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new Laptop from us we would accept their old Laptop and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out
wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Description automatically generated
Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations
Under the Waste Battery Regulations, MoreCoCo are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your waste batteries to our business premises (12 Collegiate Crescent, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 2BA, UK) in person (PLEASE DO NOT POST).
Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at
www.recyclenow.com
Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. You may find stores in your local area more accessible.
